Privacy Policy
Effective 2026-10-16
This Privacy Policy explains how One Big Media Company LLC collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use Unsaid Feelings. It is designed to support U.S. privacy expectations, including California transparency requirements, while reflecting the product’s private-use nature.
Information We Collect
We collect account information such as your email address, username, profile image, subscription status, and payment-related identifiers. We also process the content you create in the product, including entries, media uploads, voice notes, contacts, moments, journal notes, release history, timeline events, and settings selections.
We may also collect technical and usage information such as device and browser data, IP-related request metadata made available through our providers, app interaction logs, user agent strings, storage and bandwidth usage, and legal-consent records.
How We Use Information
We use personal information to provide and secure the service, authenticate users, store content, sync premium status, process payments through Stripe, support mood and ambient audio playback, preserve legal acceptance records, prevent abuse, diagnose issues, improve performance, and respond to support or legal requests.
Community Posts
Your entries are private. Only entries you choose to share are shown to other signed-in members, together with the community name you pick, any recipient label and mood you add, and reaction counts. Other members cannot see your email, your other entries, or who you reacted to. We process reports and blocks to keep the community safe, and admins can review reported posts.
Safety Check-Ins
The app looks for a small set of phrases that may indicate someone is in danger and, if found, shows crisis resources. This check runs on your device. We do not store the result or contact anyone on your behalf.
How We Share Information
We do not sell your private entries or emotional content. We share information only as needed with service providers that operate the platform for us, such as Supabase for infrastructure and Stripe for payments; when required by law, subpoena, or lawful process; to protect rights, safety, or security; or in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or business transfer.
We require third-party providers handling user data for the service to provide protections appropriate to the role they perform and the data involved. We do not authorize providers to use your private content for unrelated purposes.
Cookies, Local Storage, And Similar Technologies
The platform uses essential cookies, local storage, and session storage to keep you signed in, protect sessions, remember atmosphere and audio preferences, preserve app state, support checkout return flows, and record legal notices you accepted. The app may also store limited preference data on your device to maintain the experience you selected.
Payments
Payment card details are handled by Stripe and are not stored directly by One Big Media Company LLC. We may receive limited billing metadata from Stripe, such as customer IDs, subscription IDs, price IDs, subscription status, renewal timing, and related transaction state necessary to manage premium access.
Retention
We retain account data and user content for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, meet contractual and legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and enforce our agreements. When accounts or content are deleted, residual backups and logs may remain for a limited period under standard recovery, security, or compliance processes.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect personal information. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute protection against unauthorized access, disclosure, loss, or alteration.
Your Choices And Rights
You can download a copy of your data and permanently delete your account from Settings in the app. Deleting your account removes your entries, files and shared posts and cancels any membership. You can also update account details, request help by contacting us, and manage billing through Stripe-linked billing tools. Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to know, access, correct, delete, or limit certain processing of personal information. California residents may also have additional privacy rights under California law, subject to applicable exceptions.
If account deletion is available in the app, you should use that path first. You may also use our public privacy choices page to request deletion or contact us directly at support@onebigmediacompany.com. If subscriptions are active, billing cancellation steps may need to be completed separately before deletion can be finalized.
Children
Unsaid Feelings is only for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
Policy Updates
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we may notify you through the app, by email, or by other reasonable means. Your continued use after the effective date of an updated policy means the updated policy applies to your use of the service.
